| • | HARNESSES Gemtor full-body harnesses distribute the forces generated during a fall over at least the thighs, pelvis, chest, and shoulders. The standard sliding back D-ring helps to suspend a fallen worker in an upright position after the fall.

| • | ROPE & CABLE GRABS Small, lightweight rope-grabbing devices ride a vertical lifeline and automatically lock in place if a fall occurs.

| • | ROPE LANYARDS & LIFELINES The selection of your lanyard is as important as the proper selection of your body belt or full-body harness. Lanyards should be kept as short as possible to reduce the possibility of serious injury. OSHA mandates that free fall distances not exceed 6'.

| • | ENERGY ABSORBERS LANYARDS Gemtor, Inc. recommends that an energy/shock absorber be used whenever the possibility of a free fall exists to assure that forces are below the OSHA limits.

| • | WEB LANYARDS Web lanyards are not appropriate for fall arrest unless used as part of a .fall arrest system incorporating an energy absorbing component.

| • | SELF RETRACTING LIFELINES Gemtor self-retracting lifelines and lanyards automatically extend and retract permitting a worker freedom of movement while preventing slack line and providing continuous protection against falls.

| • | GEMTOR LADDER CLIMBER'S SAFETY SYSTEM Designed for installation on fixed, permanent ladders of virtually any height, Gemtor ladder climber’s safety systems feature a safety sleeve that automatically follows the ascending and descending movements of a worker along a fixed ladder. If a slip or fall occurs, a locking mechanism engages, limiting the fall to a few inches and reducing the possibility of serious injury.

| • | RETRIEVAL SYSTEMS Gemtor complete non-entry confined space retrieval systems come complete with everything you need to enter a vertical confined space with an acceptable means of access, except a full-body harness which should be selected based on application needs and user preferences.

| • | HORIZONTAL LIFELINES Gemtor Horizontal Lifeline Systems are engineered to provide a temporary OSHA-compliant anchorage point when no overhead anchorage exists or when a worker needs the ability to move across a horizontal surface while tied off.

| • | ANCHORAGE CONNECTORS Gemtor anchor slings provide an OSHA-compliant anchor point when attached to a
structural support capable of supporting at least 5,000 lbs. The anchor slings are made of 1 3/4" wide nylon webbing (polyester is also available) with a 3" wide wear pad to protect against abrasion.

| • | ROPE LADDERS 2" wide x 1" thick x 15" long oval shaped hardwood rungs. Side rails may be ordered in 5/8" diameter nylon, polyester, poly-blend, or HSP rope. Side rails pass through and are secured to rungs using steel drive pins. Rungs are spaced 12" apart. Ladders come standard with 5' tie-down lines.
