Gemtor self-retracting lifelines and lanyards automatically extend and retract permitting a worker freedom of movement while preventing slack line and providing continuous protection against falls.

Gemtor self-retracting lifelines and lanyards are available in a full range of configurations to suit virtually any work application.

Common Features of all Gemtor Sentry Self-Retracting Lifelines:

• Spring loaded drum with sealed ball bearings for smooth cable extension and retraction
• Weather sealed stamped steel or cast aluminum housing
• 3/16" galvanized steel cable, stainless steel cable or Tech 12 non-conductive synthetic rope

• lifeline (except SWL series)
• Compact and lightweight
• Internal components made of bronze, stainless steel and aluminum

• Impact indicator to warn user that unit has arrested a fall.

Please Note: Retractable lifelines and lanyards require a carabiner (not included) for attachment to anchorage.

Fall Limiter/Self-Retracting Lanyard

Model # FLW - Unlike our competitors plastic and multi-piece extruded aluminum lightweight SRLs and fall limiters, our cast aluminum FLW-11 can handle the rigors of everyday use. Because of its nearly indestructible housing and its very light weight, the Gemtor FLW is perfect for virtually all applications. Whether you’re on a construction site, using a warehouse order picker, in a manufacturing facility or performing maintenance, you will appreciate all the FLW has to offer. The External energy absorber provides an added level of security in the event that the device is subjected to unusually high forces. The FLW-11 incorporates a centrifugal braking system and external energy absorber that work together to ensure that fall arrest forces do not exceed 900 lbs.

Self-Retracting Lanyard
Model # RL-8 - 1 3/4" wide x 8' long, high visibility yellow polyester webbing with a swivel locking snaphook permanently attached. Unit locks within a few inches when a fall is sensed. Housing is made of heavy-duty steel with a chemical, environmental, and impact resistant PVC cover.
