Originally known as the Berne Overall & Shirt Company. BERNE Workwear was founded in the small Swiss community of Berne, Indiana back in 1915. The goal then was to provide mid-western farmers with workwear that was durable and affordable. The inspiration behind the BERNE logo stems from the iconic bear in the Swiss Coat of Arms to pay homage to the Swiss roots of Berne, Indiana. BERNE has now expanded into many new product lines including camo, Hi-Vis, fire resistant, and concealed carry.
